The Prime-minister Cabinet reported the international activity of CRICED as the model activity for educational cooperation for the world.



The activity of the Center for Research on International Cooperation in Educational Development (CRICED) was reported by the 网上哪里能买篮彩 Journal of Prime-minister's Cabinet "We are Tomodachi: Autumn 2017" based on the interview of Dr. Masami Isoda, Director of CRICED and Professor of the Faculty of Human Sciences, University of Tsukuba.


Since 2002, CRICED has been engaging in research and development to adapt Japanese education as model for the world education reform. Since 2006, CRICED has been engaging in the Japanese lesson study project under the APEC Human Resource Development Working Group with Khon Kaen University under the MEXT, Japan and MOE, Thailand. In 2009, the University of Tsukuba became the affiliate member of the Southeast Asia Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) which allows to be one member organization from every country, and CRICED has been representing the University and engages in the major role for educational reform in SEAMEO from Japan. On these activates and roles, CRICED is known as the international core-center for educational innovation in ASEAN and APEC regions.


The interview-report explains Prof. Isoda's activities on mathematics education such as lesson study in APEC, the development of regional curriculum standards in SEAMEO, and development of textbooks for school and teacher educations in several countries, as the model-activity by Japanese academicians under their partnerships with other countries' researchers and teachers.


The Japanese Government Journal "We are Tomodachi" is internationally distributed at the government-official major meetings such as United Nations and UNESCO for every ambassador and representative in the world. The interview-report of Prof. Isoda is the first article for the international contribution on school education in this Journal. For the University of Tsukuba, it is the second interview which reports the international achievements in this Journal. First one was the HAL project by Prof. Yoshiyuki Sankai.
