After the meeting, Professor Lennie delivered a keynote lecture on successful examples of international joint research within WUN. Two University of Tsukuba researchers, who had applied for funding to promote joint research among WUN member universities, shared insights on how to plan and develop international research teams. A work session followed, addressing the challenges and potential solutions faced in international collaborative research. About 60 participants from University of Tsukuba (with about 30 attending online and 30 in person) attended the workshop, gaining valuable knowledge and strategies for conducting international collaborative research. Professor Lennie also toured the supercomputer facilities at the Center for Computational Sciences.

The University of Tsukuba looks forward to continued research exchanges and collaboration with WUN member universities in the future.
